Trebarwith Strand is about a mile and a half south of Tintagel and can be reached on foot along the coastal path from St. Materiana’s Church in Tintagel. Trebarwith at low tide is a great all round beach with good swimming and surfing with plenty of nooks and crannies for your pets.

Famous for its river and fishing boats that line the wide sandy beach, Summerlis is protected by an impressive breakwater, making the beach particularly popular with families and surfers. Dogs are welcome all year round, but must be kept on a leash from May 21 to September 30.
With a great cafe, shop and toilets, this great family friendly beach has everything you need for a great day out with your dog. A large sandy beach with small pebbles lies to the south and is cut by the Seaton River. The country park behind the beach offers plenty of dog walks.
Watergate Bay Beach, about three miles from Newquay on the North Cornwall coast, has two miles of golden sand at low tide, with huge waves providing spectacular views of the Atlantic. Plenty of room for your four-legged friends to have a good run before heading to one of the beach cafes.

The beach is located at the foot of a steep cliff and can be reached from above or via a test track along the south-west coast from Sennen Bay. This means that the beach is not very crowded. Popular with surfers, there are also plenty of places where dogs can have a good run.
The Mexico Towans form a four-mile stretch of sand that begins at the mouth of Hale Inlet and extends to Godrevy Point Lighthouse. Located between Hayle Towans and Upton Towans, the beach is backed by beautiful sand dunes, or towans as they are known in Cornwall.
Known locally as Pro’stock, Porthhousestock is an eastern beach with a large flat stretch of coarse, dark sand and pebbles popular with dog walkers. Overshadowed by the industrial remains of an old quarry nearby, the cove is frequented by divers at Manacles Reef. Parking is allowed behind the beach, where there are toilets and several houses.

At the bottom of the Lizard Peninsula, in a quaint Cornish village, you’ll find Coverack Beach. The area is known to the locals as a great diving spot with shallow, calm waters that are great for a holiday with your dog! Most of the beach at low tide is sand and shingle and is a more sheltered beach due to its location on the eastern side of the Lizard Peninsula. This means it’s also usually a quieter place than other local beaches in the height of summer! But please note that in the summer months (June, July and August) your dog must be on a leash.
Polgwidden Cove, located at the foot of our own Treba garden, is a lovely little beach on the north bank of the River Helford.

The Best Dog Friendly Pubs In Cornwall
This secluded double bay is a 7 minute drive from the bay between Louis and Polpereau. Talland Bay, located within the coastline, is largely unspoiled and dog-friendly all year round. The bay consists of two rocky beaches of mostly coarse sand, both protected by low grassy cliffs and rocks. At low tide, there is plenty of sand to walk on and the perfect spot to cast your fishing rod, as well as rock pools to explore by wading.
