First, some basic information about being a new pet parent. A few years ago, when COVID suddenly took over our lives and the first lockdown began, my husband and I joined a community of pet lovers to help feed indie dogs on the streets. And so we found a bunch of very cute puppies lost in the park without their mom. They were only a few weeks old and we took turns feeding them. One of them was a strong and playful little dog and one of our friends immediately named him Raju as it was the favorite name of all dogs.

Unfortunately tragedy struck and he was apparently beaten by some bullies in the middle of the night when he was only six months old and his back was broken. Finally one of them agreed to the operation and we brought him home with the hope that one day he will be able to walk and run like normal dogs. However, two years later, although he can stand and walk a little, he is still semi-paralyzed and incontinent, but runs with the wheelchair we got for him. The staff loved the pets so much that Raju and Aishu felt so comfortable there. They walked and ran with us, rolled in the grass, sunbathed, chased squirrels and ducks, looked out at the huge vegetation from their balconies, curled up and slept, dreaming of more adventures.
