Dog Vaccine Events Near Me – When you vaccinate your pet, you protect it from getting sick and from spreading infections. By vaccinating, your pet’s body produces antibodies that help fight diseases.
Vaccinate your dog and cat on the first, third and fifth Wednesday of every month from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at our affordable clinic. Vaccine prices are the lowest in the city. We offer vaccinations, microchips, flea/tick prevention and worming for dogs and cats at affordable prices.

Your pet’s vaccinations are divided into two categories: basic vaccines and other vaccines. Non-core regional vaccines are the vaccines recommended by veterinarians in this region to ensure your pet is vaccinated against common diseases in the Central Valley.
Non-regional dog/canine vaccinations: Leptospirosis, Bordetella, Canine Influenza and Rattlesnake. (These vaccines may or may not be recommended depending on the dog’s risk factors.)
Cat/feline vaccine Not topical: Feline leukemia. (This vaccine may or may not be recommended depending on the cat’s risk factors.)
Partner with Petco Love Lost to make matching lost pets from a national database easy and free using facial recognition technology. Send a picture of your pet or search on the site. As part of Petco Love’s effort to provide vaccinations to one million pets, PEThood, organized by GA, will be giving away free pet vaccinations to all patients through the end of February. This includes patients here for surgery, vaccinations or at our new clinic.
Free Vaccine Clinic For Cats
Free vaccinations are available through Petco Love’s new vaccination program, which offers 1 million free pet vaccinations to its existing animal welfare partners, including Planned Parenthood PEThood of GA for family pet needs.
Parvovirus and distemper in dogs and panleukopenia in cats are the most common serious diseases in pets that can be prevented with a simple vaccine. About 30% of pet parents do not take their pets to the vet every year for preventive care. To meet this critical need, we are partnering with Petco Love to make pet vaccinations free and accessible to ensure the health and well-being of our beloved pets.
GA PEThood plans to vaccinate 3,000 pets with this project. In addition to offering this free event to animals visiting the Duluth clinic, they are hosting a special event in Habersham County on February 26th to help the underserved.
“Petco Love allows us to offer these important vaccines at no cost to pet owners,” said Lauren Frost, Development Coordinator. “We encourage residents to take advantage of this free resource and ensure the health and well-being of pets in our community.”

“It’s sad when a pet suffers or dies from a preventable disease. It’s even worse when unvaccinated pets end up in busy kennels where these dangerous diseases can spread quickly, causing more deaths, higher costs and complications in saving a pet’s life.” said Pet. Suzanne Kogut, President of Petco Love. “By raising awareness and increasing the use of this important treatment for pets who do not receive these life-saving vaccines, we can prevent the spread of this dangerous disease.”
