With the promise of warm spring weather and April being National Pet Month, it’s a great time to get out and about with your four-legged friend.

The Uk’s Best Dog Friendly Beaches Revealed

Rounding out the top five is Cockmere Haven Beach in East Sussex with a score of 8.06. The quiet rocky area is located next to the white limestone cliffs of the Seven Sisters.

Devon has the most dog-friendly beaches, ranked 22 out of 148 people.

The study comes from Rain on You magazine, which analyzed Google ratings and reviews of 148 dog-free beaches to find the most popular spots. However, beaches without Google Maps ratings and reviews were excluded from the study. To obtain a weighted total score, the index is calculated before calculating the normalized score.
