Dog Friendly Cabin Lake District

Dog Friendly Cabin Lake District

Dog Friendly Cabin Lake District – As any dog owner or new dog owner knows, leaving your dog behind when you go on vacation is not only a logistical nightmare, but also a drain on your comfort. One of the best parts of our collection is the number of places that make you feel like bringing your dog along. While our collection includes many dog-friendly places, here are a few that caught our eye:

This cabin is situated on a private riverside plot in the heart of 6,000 acres of North York Moors. Surround yourself with nothing but nature and wildlife. Have a barbecue and dip your toes in the river (or dive right in). The estate has its own pub, The Horseshoe Hotel, with an excellent beer garden and outdoor bar, barbecue facilities and an excellent farm shop. You are only six miles from Whitby for sailing or swimming such as Runswick Bay and Robin Hood’s Bay, both with no dog restrictions all year round! The coast-to-coast trail runs through private property, so you can walk and hike for miles. Your dog will love lying still on the provided bed and patiently waiting for organic food – for them!

From the long balcony of the stunning workshop space, the internal and external views extend to the Brecon Beacons on a clear day. The cabin is spacious, light and airy, with beautiful colors and comfortable sofas, hardwood floors and rugs (perfect for yoga!) and a log burner to warm you up on chilly evenings. The kitchen is well equipped for home cooking, with chef friendly cabinets. Barbeque or dine alfresco in the small but perfectly shaped private enclosed courtyard covered in greenery. There are plenty of walks nearby to keep you and your dog busy for a while. Take you and your four-legged partner in crime to Little Salisbury Hill for some great views.

Dog Friendly Glamping Holidays In The Uk

All three wooded acres in Cwtch are yours and yours. If you’re looking for a place to relax, hang out in the hammock and gather around the fire, or for the kids to run wild and improve their home, it’s perfect. The whole place is offline, meaning no TV or Wi-Fi, just you and the tranquility of the great outdoors. You can test your bushcraft skills, but there’s also a gas stove if you fancy a quick cup of tea. Bethan the host can also show you the path from the forest to the riverside walk.

Set in the wild Devonshire Meadows, 15 minutes from the nearest building, Withywindle is designed to engage with its countryside and help you do the same. Spend afternoons outside on the deck baking pizzas in the Ooni oven or cooking over the nearby fire pit if the fully equipped kitchen doesn’t satisfy all your culinary tastes. There are books to read and a large bathtub to lie in and pretend to be. You can end the day with a peaceful stargazing wrapped in a blanket. There is plenty to do in nearby Devon and the cabin is situated halfway between Exmouth and the North Devon coast. Find plenty of hiking trails nearby and dog-friendly beaches in far-flung locations.

Mill Valley is completely off-the-grid and like old-fashioned camping, but with a little creativity. You spend time exploring nature and making new friends, who are usually muddy. You will meet guests elsewhere, maybe some of the congregation of the church on the hill, the owners Lisa and Neil, and at least a couple of dogs, who will happily play with you if you bring are together. Like Mill Valley, the Cornish coast is a playground for magical woodland walks, windy coastal paths and wide beaches, as well as country pubs serving delicious food in peaceful, hidden villages. There is an acre and a half of safe space to run the dogs and a kennel ready to welcome the dogs when they arrive!
