My husband and I stayed at the pine house from May 27-31, 2024. It was a much needed vacation after a long school year. Holly’s cabin is close but far enough to have privacy. The cottage has everything you need except food. Make sure you stop when you go to eat or you will have to walk half an hour outside the restaurant like we did. If you dare stop at the pigeon loft and visit the candle museum, play mini golf and end your day with dinner. The Hatfields & McCoy show had good food and a great show. If you love motorcycles, head to Maggie Valley to visit the motorcycle museum and be sure to stop at Jesse’s Pancake Shop for the best pancakes ever. If you don’t want to drive far, take a tour of the small hot springs town and go to Smokey Mountain Restaurant for some good country food. We are already planning our next visit for December and will be staying at the Oak cottage. My daughter and her boyfriend stayed at the Holly cabin as I did
We spent four days in absolute heaven with our fur babies in the Paw Print room. the cabin was clean and fully stocked with cooking and cleaning supplies, as well as dishes, silverware and various spices in the cupboard. We love the fenced yard with the Paw Print Cabin and so do our kids! The hot tub was very relaxing. Green can be seen everywhere. Very peaceful and pleasant. We will be back!
We had a wonderful stay at the Hound Heaven property and look forward to returning. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, including a great view of the mountains! We really enjoyed hiking several trails including Max Patch and Spring Creek and Laurel River. Hot Springs is a cool town with some great restaurants and the amazing Hot Springs Resort.
