There are so many questions that sometimes you don’t need someone who has seen it all, but someone from Australia to tell you how to tackle this amazing beach.

Places To Visit Along The East Coast
Firstly, if you are wondering how to get to the East Coast from Melbourne – Sydney, there are different ways to do it.
The Most Scenic East Coast Cities To Visit
You can choose where to go on the east coast, but the best way is to fly into Melbourne and take a short trip to Cairns, as many do. Just remember the summer in Victoria and NSW, and the rainy season in Queensland.
Melbourne is home to the most popular restaurants and clubs, film festivals, markets and more. During these two days, don’t miss ACMI, the Australian Center for the Moving Image, where you can see the best exhibitions from around the world.
Melbourne is known as the cultural capital of Australia. Expect great restaurants spilling out onto the streets, amazing street art that you might not find anywhere else in the country and some hidden bars that won’t be policed like in Sydney (I’m talking about how shooters can be in Sydney!), Melbourne tends to be known as a local brand from London.
On your first visit to Sydney, be sure to stop by the Mornington Peninsula for its hot springs and Wilson’s Promontory National Park.
Visit The East Cost Of Malaysia
If you are going camping, I would recommend staying at Eden for one night. The old whaling town is a perfect little gem on Australia’s east coast. You will find the most amazing beaches and you must stop in Bega to buy the famous Bega Valley cheeses!
MtKosciuszko is the highest mountain in Australia with a height of 2,228 meters. You can climb it in 6-8 hours (read more about climbing Kosciuszko here), but the real reason I would go there is to swim in the Yarrangobilly Caves Thermal Pool. It is only 700 meters from the car park so don’t expect any walking, although it is a bit steep so be careful if you have children. The main thing is that the temperature stays at 27 degrees Celsius all year round!!
If you’re looking for the best beaches in Australia, head to Jervis Bay, just three hours from Sydney. Hymns Beach is known for having the whitest sand in the world, but I think the nearby China Beach is even better. Be sure to check out my guide to what you can see here.

How To Plan The Perfect East Coast Road Trip
You can take a bus from Melbourne to Sydney or if you drive and drive after visiting Kosciuszko National Park. Stay in one of the best hotels and see, treat yourself to a beautiful dinner and discover one of the many gems around the city. Sydney is known for its amazing beaches and walks, so make sure you spend a great day exploring them by hiring a car here to do so.
Make sure you don’t miss a trip to the Blue Mountains, which is one of the most beautiful places near Sydney.
The Central Coast is a wonderful gem near Sydney. Be sure to stop at places like Avoca Beach for the Byron Bay vibe, Newcastle for the beaches, Port Stephens for one of the best places for families (because there’s so much to do!). Don’t miss a night at Seal Rocks, one of the most beautiful places in Australia!
Once you’ve hit all the nice spots on the beach, head straight to Barrington Tops National Park. This is so amazing, I have never seen a sky full of stars like I did when I went there before.
Bucket List Places To See On The East Coast Of The Usa
You can hop on the greyhound bus from Sydney or drive 10 hours to Byron Bay – a must see on the East Coast. If you’re passing through, I recommend stopping by to see some of them
Australia is known for. You can get a giant banana in Coffs Harbor and a giant prawn in Ballina!
If you’re wondering why Byron is known for his love of the East Coast, it’s easy to see why; You’ve got the city, the surfer, the hippie, the healthy food, but when you get to the mainland, that’s where it’s most beautiful.
You will see the views of the countryside and the beaches, and the Australian geek, hot stuff, Chris Hemsworth lives nearby. Be sure to check out Crystal Castle, Wategoes Beach and some of the best restaurants in Byron. If you’re looking for the most amazing place to stay on the beach, I’ve got you covered.
Where To Visit On The East Coast Of England (top Tips!)
Noosa is the next place to visit. It’s on Australia’s Sunshine Coast, and while it’s a popular getaway to Fraser Island (an absolute MUST visit!), it’s also a great place to visit Australia Zoo. You can also visit its many hidden but stunning beaches and see wildlife. If you’re a nature lover, then Noosa National Park deserves to be on your bucket list. Noosa is a popular destination for families and from what I’ve heard it’s like a good version of Byron Bay.
Once you’re done with Noosa, head to the east coast and stop at a small seaside town called 1770. This is an interesting place – it’s where the Grand Barrier Reef meets the surf beach, which is a must-see. But one of the best things this place has to offer is the Scooter Roo Tour.
You will ride a Harley Davidson in a leather jacket while looking for kangaroos, which is a real Australian experience. You don’t want to miss this!
The popular town of Airlie Beach is a must visit as it is the gateway to the Whitsundays. One of the best beaches in the world is here and you might be tempted to miss out on a cruise around the islands for a few days. This is an absolute must on your trip to the East Coast!
Best East Coast Vacation Spots In The Usa + Hidden Gems!
This is the place you want to go to relax, swim, swim in the crystal clear water and party. If you don’t mind going on a great Aussie adventure, plan your trip around the Island Life Beach Party at Magnetic Island, a must-see for travelers. I used to rent funny barbies like jeeps to drive around the island. You don’t want to miss this place!
When you’re done with the festivities at Airlie Beach, head to the Cairns area for diving, snorkeling and skydiving, you won’t regret it! I would recommend staying in Cairns for backpackers, Palm Cove for couples and Port Douglas for families.
Two hours north of Cairns lies the beautiful Cape Tribulation in the oldest forest in the world – the Daintree National Park. More than 165 million years old, it’s hard to overstate its beauty. Be sure to walk around the area and have breakfast at Cape Tribulation Beach – around 8.30 you won’t see anyone making it the perfect place to have your first meal of the day and just relax.

Although this road trip has other things to see and explore, these are some of the places worth remembering on our East Coast tours and we recommend spending a few days in each of these places. .One (most) thing I love about the US is how different it can be from one state to another.
